Third quarter 2019 data of December 5.
The annual variation of the Housing Price Index (IPV) in the third quarter of 2019 decreases six tenths and stands at 4.7%.
By type of housing, both the annual rates of new and second-hand housing decrease six tenths compared to the previous quarter, and stand at 6.6% and 4.4%, respectively.
Annual variation rates Most autonomous communities decrease their annual rate in the third quarter of 2019 compared to the second.
The greatest decreases occur in the Community of Madrid, Region of Murcia and La Rioja, with decreases of 1.9, 1.8 and 1.8 points, respectively.
On the other hand, the Basque Country, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands registered the greatest increases in their annual rates, with increases of nine, seven and six tenths, respectively.
Quarterly variation rates Housing prices have positive quarterly rates in all autonomous communities.
The largest increases occur in the Balearic Islands, Andalusia and the Basque Country, with increases of 4.5%, 2.1% and 1.9%, respectively.
On the other hand, Extremadura and La Rioja registered the lowest quarterly increases, with an increase of three tenths in both.
